Products belonging to the same system should be selected by the manufacturer. When installing the materials, the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of the design must be followed. If necessary, the solution must be adapted to the conditions of a specific object.

Wall tiling with waterproofing

  1. Block wall

  2. Primer under the plaster

    The primer can improve the adhesion between the block wall structure and the plaster mixture. The substrate can have a very different adhesion, some of them need a primer but others do not. Priming is definitely necessary for so called white blocks, as a rule. The plaster mixture adheres well to expanded clay blocks. The choice of primer should be based on the type of plaster mixture and the product documentation. Products from different brands may not be compatible.

  4. Primer for waterproofing layer

    The primer is needed to improve the adhesion of the waterproofing layer. Products belonging to the same system should be selected from the system. As a rule, waterproofing mastics have been tested as a system.

  6. Waterproofing mastic

    The waterproofing mastic must be applied in a minimum of two layers.

  7. Tiling adhesive
